I Lived The Pain
Before I Built The Solution

I discovered the problem while helping a VC reconcile discrepancies between their internal fund metrics and fund admin's reports. What seemed like a simple fix revealed a systemic issue:

Fund data — capital statements, financials, calls, and distributions — was fragmented, error-prone, and misaligned with LP agreements.

The impact was real: Inaccurate reporting, Compliance risk & LP trust erosion. This was especially problematic for LPs trying to evaluate GP track records.

That insight sparked Zive — a platform born out of real-world frustration, backed initially by a Fund of Funds and a Single Family Office. Not just for GPs — but built with LPs to solve the problems they experience every day.
